Amicus Brief in Eldred v. Ashcroft (Copyright Term Extension Act)
The infamous Disney Mickey Mouse Copyright Case. Our team led by Professor Michael Davis argued that copyright term extensions are not retroactive as historical precedent and the black letter law of the Constitution seem to suggest. Disney … I mean The Court disagreed. Disney essentially bought off your Congressman/woman and added an extra 20 yrs to its copyright on Mickey. Look for my credit in footnote 1!
