Developers Vote: Eclipse RCP Wins for Portable Code
Very interesting overview of an EDC report on Eclipse developers and their adoption of the Eclipse RCP. This is the same platform IBM used to get Notes cross-platform between Windows, Linux and Mac OS X… and IBM did it a year ahead of plan by leveraging RCP. This is a potential game changer on the desktop side and I’m very interested in seeing the progression. EDC cites a 130% increase in RCP usage over last year.
