New York Times on Renting in NYC

I can attest apartment prices are insane here. It’s not just the city but it’s spreading out to Westchester as well (especially areas close to train stations like White Plains). A two bedroom apartment for $2,800/mo. is not normal to the rest of this country (San Francisco, D.C and Boston are other exceptions)
