I’m back – trying to catch up on news/emails

New version of WordPress, HP buys Mercury Interactive, and Debian’s going to leverage OpenVZ – lots of news that just doesn’t seem to make it to Hawaii.

Oh and I also discovered the worst airline ever = Island Air. There are so many reasons why but I can summarize with delays, lost baggage, 50 lbs of TOTAL baggage per passenger (yes that includes checked baggage), the ability to find baggage and re-lose it, and prop planes from the 1970s. Somehow you can fly into Hawaii with 2 checked bags and two carry-ons that can be 50lbs each but then you’re supposed to magically shed them if you fly to a different island…
