Linux Kernel Config Archives

This is really cool – a library of kernel archives that shows what’s new or let’s you even compare differences between kernels. Let’s say you’re on 2.6.13 and are wondering what’s new with 2.6.15 and whether it’s worth an update… take a look. It also has all the complete .config files for the kernel version – a great reference.

    I agree!!!

Finally I was able to understand why it wasn’t possible to compile for Intel Core 2
on our 2.6.16 kernel that we use in our test lab at work.

The option “CONFIG_MCORE2″ came alive in version 2.6.20.
