		<description>Once upon a time, someone mentioned using Knockage (http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/library/l-knockage.html) along with something like 3ddesktop so that you could slap the side of your screen and switch to a different virtual desktop.  I had it going, then I realized that doing this probably means gradually trashing your hard drive if you&#039;re an active switcher (or vigorous knocker).

One really good use, though, was if you have X hang, or whatever, you could have it automatically restart when you angrily shake the laptop.

Now THAT&#039;s HCI for you.</description>
